Zorro - approx 1 y.o stray B&T GSD Homed
Meet the absolutely gorgeous Zorro
Zorro was found by the Mole Valley dog warden approx 3 weeks ago as a stray & has been held since that time, in another rescue kennel until today.
He showed the normal symptoms of kennel stress & as the previous rescue were not GSD rescue experienced (by their own admission) & were unsure how to handle him.
We have no history on him so we can only assume that his vaccs are required. He is being also being checked this saturday to see if he is microchipped . He has been very well taken care of in the past & his health appears excellent .
An entire male , he was very upfront to start off with & reluctant to accept a slip lead. But after 10 - 15 minutes of calmly talking to him & introducing myself slowly , Colin entered his pen area (which the kennel staff were very reluctant to do) & calmly walked him out without the need for a muzzle.
On arriving at Vigil , he was totally calm & relaxed. Colin walked him around for approx 15 - 20 minutes & all he wanted to do was play & sniff. He looked at the other dogs in the kennels but did not bark or pull towards them.
He does shy away a bit if you make quick movements or sudden noises.
Colin doesn't think the kennel environment will be any good for him , so hopefully his new forever home is only around the corner.

Zorro as his name suggests is dashingingly handsome. What a true beauty hope he finds a loving forever home really quickly.
