Lyka and King Urgent homed

This is from the rescuer in Greece:
Lyka was found by an animal helper, she was wandering on the street. She was bone thin, smelled awful and had pus coming from her ears. We can't say how old she is as she hasn't managed to tell us, but for sure she is not young. She is a great girl but the shelter is not the best place for her, a loving family would be great!

I found King strolling down the road to our shelter, he was very tired and came right up to me as if he was asking for help. He is also an older dog but seems quite strong and in good health. As with Lyka the shelter is not the best place for King. I find that shepherds have the habit of pacing back and forth in their pens and both of these are now caked with mud seeing as how it has rained all winter.

The reason I have decided to prepare these two for the UK is that they are both lovely dogs who will not find a home if they stay here. I hope they can find a family in the UK.

Lyka and King are coming to the UK very soon and we desperately need either permanent or foster homes for these two oldies. They will not be able to travel unless we can secure them foster homes as they wouldn't do well in kennels through the winter. They are ok with other dogs.

These two dogs have waited a long time for this opportunity, please read their stories, we would love to have them nice and settled for Christmas. Lyka and King do not have to be rehomed/fostered together.

Oh if only I could take them, these 2 golden oldies deserve to have a beautiful new life. Fingers crossed that someone comes forward to offer them a forever home quickly.

I wish you could take them too, they'd have a brilliant life with you.

Carol has a firm offer of foster home for King subject to references/homecheck.
Lyka and King will hopefully be travelling on Friday 29th October and arriving UK on Monday, she still needs firm offer for a foster/forever home for Lyka.

That's great news about the foster for King, here's praying that someone will come forward to offer Lyka a foster or permanent home quickly.

Sadly King will not be coming to UK on this transport run. Marj scanned him and his microchip could not be found, they don't know if it has fallen out but because of this he can't travel. We hope that he may be able to travel in January if Marj can arrange it. Transport for Lyka is sorted, she is being driven all the way here. Fingers crossed she will arrive on Monday.

Lyka is in her foster home in Southampton, she is a super girl, hoping that foster mum joins the ff group.

King is finally on his way to the UK from Greece and is due to arrive in the UK around about the 15th January. He was meant to travel with Lyka on the last transport run but unfortunately his paperwork was not in order. A transport run has been set up by a rescue in Bournemouth where they will be bringing 8 street dogs into the UK, including King.

King has a foster home to go to, but once settled and if foster mum dosen't fall in love he may need a permanent home

Fingers crossed that Kings' foster mum fall in love with him and gives him his forever home.

Both these dogs are happily settled in their new homes.

Brilliant news hope they both have beautiful happy new lives now with their new families.
