Maisie a sad story homed
Maisie is in Ireland and wants to come to the UK to find her new home. Here is what Ann has to say about her in her Email to John.
HI John
Please find attached photos of a gsd girl in the kennels where I keep my dogs and she is under the care of the Louth spca. She has been there for months and really deserves/needs a break. She has survived a bad gastro thing 6 weeks ago and I think she is there from May. Initially she was a bit stand offish but is now very friendly and she is fine with female dogs for some reason. She had a little nip at a red setter male but he was a bit in her face.
Gill said you might be able to help her. Poor girl doesn’t even have a name after all this time so lets call her Maisie – a nice soft name. She is about 2 yrs old – not very big but is craving affection now.
Regards
Ann
From Ann today:
Maisie as you can see has not a problem with the two girls in her company - the faithful Hope whom I use as a test and the little whippet x pup who was a bundle of energy. Maisie expects little out of life and has accepted her lonely quarters for months now so it would be really nice to see her get a warm comfortable bed with the cold weather beckoning. Her eyes light up when she sees you coming even if its just for a pat on the head and a treat. She almost died 6 weeks ago so she really deserves a good home.
Please help her someone.
She is being further tested with males and I really think once she gets to know them she would be fine. As she has been kennelled for sometime I could not foresee any problems on being left for a period during the day. She hasn't had a lot of input so far.
If you would like to offer her her forever home please call John on 01932 571268

Re: Maisie a sad story homed
Tears are pouring from my eyes as I read Maisie's sad story. I will keep everything crossed for this beautiful girl that she finds someone worthy of her really quickly. She's had a rotten time of it so far and it's high time she found a loving forever home where she will be cherished and well cared for.
Re: Maisie a sad story homed
And here she is ariving here at 5.30 this morning thanks to Sharon (Bruni) who got up at a unearthly hour to walk her dogs and then picked her up from the transporter. Maisie is a small gsd compaired to the norm.
The girl likes chicken roll which is what it took to make friends with her and to get her up on the doggy bed.
HHHMMM it looks good maybe I will get up.
