Duke 2 year old B&T Homed

Duke is in Ireland at the moment but will be coming over to John next week.

Duke, a magnificent gsd male was taken into the vets to be pts. Sadly he had got into a sheep field and whilst no damage was done the sheep were frightened and the farmer told Duke's owner if he didnt get rid of him he would shoot him. The distraught owner took him into the vets to be put down humanely but the girls in the vet were begging for help as he is far too nice to pts. Duke is two years old and has lived with children. A family pet and therefore his owner couldnt bear the thought of him being homed to anything less.

As you can see Duke is absolutely stunning. Extremely well mannered & loving, will sit & give the paw on command.




Duke is in foster in Ireland & is said that he is completely chilled out now and is doing extremely well.
The original owners are devastated at having to give Duke up. They have children of 9, 6 and 4 and Duke used to play football with them and they would roll all over him. Duke cleared a hedge and was herding the sheep and the farmer arrived with his gun to shoot him. Duke is also excellent with other dogs and a real people dog. He is a big boy and is just stunning.

Duke's story

Awww poor Duke and his poor owners having to give this lovely boy up. Fingers crossed that Duke finds someone to offer him a loving forever home really quickly.

Duke is now with John in Surrey. At present he is having a snooze after his breakfast but not before the photo shoot seen here with Amber another beautiful Irish girl.

Duke has left John for his new home in Essex together with a girl friend and 2 brothers.
