Jessie 2/3yr old; In Ireland Homed

Jessie is back with us, through no fault of her own. She was too exhuberant for her home and they very reluctantly asked us to take her back as their circumstances had changed.

She is an absolute darling girl, but she does require an experienced home.




Jessie's history :-

Her original owner put her out 24/7 when she was bought as a small pup. Jessie was left to her own devices and allowed to roam. She was given no guidance or company and her only pals were local dogs. As a result she is great with dogs and also great with people but she is too active to be in a home with children. She would be overwhelming around small kids.

Jessie came to us in December last year and spent 4 months in kennels until she was adopted last April- then she was in her new home up to a month ago so she is now back in kennels and though she has lots of freedom at the kennels she is getting stressed without human company.

Her ideal home would be with another dog for company, an active, calm male dog, as she is full of energy and she does approach every dog head on as if they are all her best friends which can be off putting for some dogs.

She absolutely loves everyone she meets - she is excellent in the car, great on the lead, her recall isn't that good so time would be needed in that area. She is neutered/fully vaxed and microchipped.

She does require a home where someone is there daytime - and where she can have lots of walks and fun. A mature home would suit Jessie , or a home with older teenagers. But definately an experienced dog home.

All in all she is a wonderful young dog, not very large, and a total honey, but she is high energy.

Jessie's story

Fingers crossed that Jessie finds a loving new home worthy of her really quickly. She sounds like a real character who will bring lots of fun to anyone who adopts her.

Hopefully Jessie will be coming over to John later next week subject to 2 of his foster dogs, Captain and Shadow going to their new homes.

some main points for Jessie's new home

1. No young children as she is very active, only teenagers if her home has kids.

2. No female dogs, in fact while she is good with male dogs, if there is a male dog in her new home, he must be laid back and easy going.

3. A home where she will get one to one attention - with experienced GSD owner(s)

4. A home where she will NOT be on her own daytime.

5. No idea about cats.

6. Ideal dog as an only pet.

7. Lots of walks - though her recall needs work, so on lead only until her recall is perfect.

Jessie is a very intelligent and loyal dog, she loves everyone - she is such an affectionate
dog.

Jessie has been homed!!!

She had been "residing" in a wonderful kennels for the past few months
and the owners of the kennels, gradually moved her, over the past few weeks
to their home to see how she would adjust.

Jesse is now totally part of the family - along with a stunning Ridgeback &
10 daschunds and Jessie is great with all of them. She loves the little dogs.

They are keeping her and she will have acres of outdoor space, her own
private wood for walks and lots of company. Also a special doggy settee
in the kitchen where they all gather !!
